Do you hate Mondays? Do you hate getting out of the after an amazing relaxing weekend to go back to the crowded world and a stressful job? Well, Starbucks is trying to make your Mondays look a little better. A discounted Latte might not be what you’ve been dreaming of, but it’s a good start, and this video by AMV and Brand New School definitely does a nice in picturing the first day of the week in a different, more positive light.
A lot of good things happened on Mondays. Did you know for example that the man first walked on the moon on Monday 21st July 1969?
Interesting creative angle to invent a story around sales promotion. And I also like the fact that the video is made only using Starbucks products. This “trick” is a nice way to connect consumers with the brand, which doesn’t hurt at all. This video definitely proves its not impossible to create a nice promotion for a discounted product without compromising the brand equity.
